I live in Germany and i'm half Irish. Each year I keep my fingers crossed that Ireland will enter with a good song and recapture the glorious Eurovision moments. Personally, I think Ireland won't stand a chance in this years competition (once again). Shine one sounds promisong but too generic … the Vard sisters have the talent and they'd deserve it. But pleeeeease, do NOT vote for Jedward!! With 'Lipstick' ireland will be an even bigger kole than UK in previous years.
I don't think that Jedward will win with the new voting system, but I haven't decided who to vote for yet, I will see the performances on the night.
Quite amazing how a small country like Ireland can produce so many talented and good looking people – is there something in Irish water? I think all acts are strong, but none as unique and entertaining as Jedward. Come on Ireland, don’t be selfish and give us Jedward, Europe deserves to see them and be entertained by them.

Wow these votes are a bit shocking, I hope they're not representative.
Shine on is pretty dire, it's the only of the five that I don't like to some degree though. Overall it's the strongest national final we've had in years.
I hope Nikki will win, amazing song! I'm unsure though….it'll all depend on how the juries vote for sure. Since Jedward will surely win the public vote.
I'll admit the chorus is Shine On is extremley catchy and nice….but the rest of the song. I've listened to it a few times but just blah. It's a mess.
