A sample of the song to represent Slovakia has been released.

The song which is to be performed by “The Twiins” was released last night among all the “Super Saturday” National Finals.

The group “Musiqq” will represent Latvia in May with the song “Angel In Disguise”.

The group “A Friend in London” will represent Denmark in May with the song “New Tomorrow”.

Mika Newton will represent Ukraine in May with the song “Angel”.

1 Linda Bengtzing – E det fel på mig

This was expected and Linda did not falter with an amazing performance!

2 Nicke Borg – Leaving Home

This was a shock announcement as I personally found it very boring!

Two acts also made it through but to the Andran Chansen round of Melodifestivalen to take place next Saturday!

1 Linda Pritchard – Alive

This I also predicted yesterday, her performance was good but not amazing!

Linda is facing a battle against The Moniker with their song “Oh My God” next Saturday in Andra Chansen.

2 Love Generation – Dance Alone

This was a bit of a shock as I was convinced yesterday that they would make it straight to the final.

Love Generation are facing a batte against Jenny Silver’s “Something In Your Eyes” next Saturday in Andra Chansen.

Did the right songs make it through?

So it’s here already, with just under an hour to go to the fourth and last semi final from the wonderful juggernaut that is Melodifestivalen.

We have 8 more songs to go through and I think its the strongest semi final with regards to overall song quality this year in MF.

Song 1: Melody Club

I was expecting more of a rock style song from Melody Club, something more quirky but I am surprised to say that I enjoyed the audio for this. I am expecting them to be more out there on stage tonight but I am strangely looking forward to it!

Possible Andra Chansen?

Song 2: Julia Alvgard

I didn’t know anything about this girl and I still don’t but the more I listened to this song, the more I liked it…it leaves a lasting impression on your brain! As I have never seen her before or how she performs, I am looking forward to watching her performance tonight!

Song 3: Lasse Stefanz

I tried my very best to listen to this song in its entirety before I passed judgement but I found myself very bored and wondering how this made it into any of the semi finals!

Last position? I hope so!

Song 4: Linda Pritchard

Not the type of song I expected from Linda but it is a very strong powerful ballad and I think she will do quite well. I just hope she is able to hit those notes. There are a few times in there that sounded a little screechy!

Song 5: Anders Fernette

This is a nice song, it kind of grows throughout, better than I was expecting, not so sure if it is strong enough to go the whole way though.

Song 6: Linda Bengtzing

This is classic Linda Bengtzing. Great song, key change as usual, up tempo, high octane entry for Linda. Not sure about those yellow PVC leggings I happened to see in a preview today though!

Should be straight to Final and it may very well do but there is a chance of Andra Chansen here. It would be a disgrace if she did not make either of those!

Song 7: Nicke Borg

This is not my type of music at all. Did not enjoy this, quite boring and lame. Can’t really find anything nice to say about this so I will just leave it there I think!!

Song 8: Love Generation

I did not know anything about this song until I just listened to it a few moments ago. I love it! I think this will be hugely popular tonight and will really finish off the show wonderfully!!!

Straight to Final? Andra Chansen at the very least I bet!
