Tonight of course is not Niamh Kavanagh’s first appearance in Eurosong! Here for posterity is the less well known national final version of In Your Eyes. Where Niamh hadn’t quite worked out just how to approach the big wailing key change.

If you take Jedward out of the equation I’m very excited about Donna McCaul, Maria McCool, and Úna Gibney/David Shannon. I’ve a feeling I won’t like the Andrew Mann song (rock doesn’t do it for me). As I said before I worry that the storm of Jedward’s fame will blow them all away. I live in hope though.
